Google Video Uploader allows you to upload your videos to Google Videos. The application is quite simple, but it helps you a lot if you are tired for any reason of the web interface or it just doesn't work for you. When you download and execute the application for the first time, it will ask you to provide a valid google videos account. I used my gmail account and it worked just fine. After that, you have to agree to the terms by clicking where it says that you have all the legal rights to upload the video that you are uploading. Then, you have to add a video file to the application, the supported file types are .mpg, .mpeg, .avi, .ra, .ram, .mov, .wmv, .asf, .mod, and .mp4. When you have the video added, the application will contact the servers and perform a couple of checks. Once those are done, the video upload will begin. The application works very well and, depending on the video length and size, you will have your video ready in a matter of minutes. However, the servers usually take a couple of minutes, up to hours, to display newly uploaded videos. |
